This is another attempt to recreate the Jack Vettriano style.

I love his paintings and style (see Jack Vettriano) and this image is my intepretation of his work.

There are not many models that I could have used such a hard light on, but it works wonderfully for this beautiful young lady.

This Authentic Beauty shoot took place in a local house and used its Victorian features to wonderfully compliment this beautiful young lady.

This photo nearly killed us all - (well not quite)

It was shot in the bathroom (hence the water surrounding the model) and I was stood on the side of the bath looking directly down.

The number of times that I nearly fell in doesn't bear thinking about, but somehow we managed to finish the shoot without me standing on the model.

I love the way that the ripples in the water make the image beautifully abstract and send her hair flowing above her head.

Getting the right amout of specular highlights in the water was the trickiest part of the lighting, but we quickly worked out what to do and I really like the final image.

This image is a homage to one of my favourite painters Jack Vettriano.

It was taken a while ago for a young woman that wanted a sensual portrait. The only problem was that she was very camera shy.

It didn't take long to organise this photo shoot. The pose was arranged to make it appear that she is day dreaming out of the window with the beautiful summer sun pouring in.

This is along the same lines as the "how to look good naked" scenario where women are often looking for a confidence boost but don't know how to pose or even if they dare!

I love the contrasting colours and the warm glow as the sun streams in through the open curtains. I posed her so that her shadow fell in the middle of the sunlight on the floor. Plus I reflected some of the sunlight back towards her to help light up her features from behind. This created the beautiful sheen on her stockings which really enhanced the shape of her legs.

Photo sessions like this make a fantastic present for a husband or wife.

We have done a lot of work around the "how to look good naked" concept recently. Many ladies have caught on to the idea that Gok Wan started on TV last year and are spending a little time getting some portraits done that are a little more different than the usual.

Just like the series, these are sometimes requested as a confidence booster. They also make a great present to a husband or even your husband-to-be.

All the sessions are fully chaparoned and can take place at a variety of locations; your own home, the studio, or even a really nice hotel.

We are very discreet and professional, and our speciality is camera shy people.

This image was taken some time ago. It was shot in an old deserted building near the river.

I had to use my tripod, not for the camera - but to scare the rats away!

The idea was to show the model was not fully dressed, but to ensure that nothing too raunchy was on display. I think that we succeeded rather well!

The camera was metered for the models face, and the black underwear chosen to ensure that no detail was present in the shadows.

Its almost a voyeurist result and the girl in the image loved the results...
