This was a photoshoot that took place on Saturday in the middle of Beverley. At one point we virtually ground the area to a halt as people watched the shoot going on.
It was for North Salon and was a shoot to help them in a national hair competition. The concept was to create an 'urban' look.
I created the image on the left to look quite theatrical, utilising the cold and warm colours of the wall and door to create a colour contrast.
The day was absolutely freezing and the models had to endure temperatures of around 2C for a couple of hours.
I was even asked to remove the guys nipples afterward because they stood out too far from his T shirt!

The image of the young girl was designed to highlight the colour in her hair. I placed her in front of the black door and borrowed a black dress from Cry Chic Boutique.
This just left the colour in her hair and finger nails to pop out of the image.

The final image of the guy at the bottom of the page is actually the salons owner.
