This is the start of a set of images from a "trash the dress" photo shoot.
For those that haven't heard of it before its a session that takes place after the wedding (usually a few months to a year later).
The bride puts her dress back on but instead of making sure it stays perfect, its becomes part of a ‘different' image set.
I had to get into the pool to cature this particular shot utilising the fastest shutter speed to freeze the drops of water flying through the air.
We waited until later in the day to get the colour of the light right on the model, creating the warm skin tones.

The black and white image was the first of the sequence for the trash the dress shoot.
I asked to bride to jump into the pool while I laid on the floor at the far end of the pool. I used a long lens to capture the action from a safe distance.
The smile on her face shows just how much she was enjoying the session.

The final image was taken from the edge of the pool much later in the day. The sun was going down so I used the warmer sunlight to create the beautiful contrasting colours.
I asked the bride to turn slowly so that the dress billowed out in the water. When her dress was in the optimum position I took the image.
